Forms is a Feathr form building tool designed to help you create simple, useful, embeddable contact and email collection forms. Using Forms, you can use Feathr to publish a form on your domain-connected website that will collect data of your choice from your web audience. When your audience submits the form, the data they entered will immediately be reflected in your Community database. Watch the video below for an introduction:
Why Use Forms?
Forms is an ideal tool for easily gathering information from your web visitors directly to your Feathr Community database. Forms is especially useful for converting web visitors into known contacts, and enabling streamlined email collection to grow your email coverage in Feathr. Once created in Feathr, a form can be embedded on any page of your domain-connected website. Visitors to a page where a Form is embedded can choose to fill out and submit the form. Example use cases for Forms include:
- Email newsletter signup
- Lead generation/interest
- Gated content submission
- Volunteer interest
Once a Form is submitted, you can view a report of the submissions, seeing who viewed and/or submitted the Form. You can also filter Community data by Form submissions, allowing you to trigger Auto Send and Email Drip campaigns off of Form submissions.
Quick Start Guide to Using Forms
Where Can I Find Forms?
To begin creating a Form, navigate to any project and select Content > Forms. This will bring you to the Forms wizard. Read this article for step-by-step instructions for how to create a Form.
Styling your Forms
Forms are fully customizable, giving you control over which fields are included in your Form, what their labels, help text, and example data say, and more. You can select from a collection of fonts, and choose custom colors for nearly every element of your Form.
Embedding your Forms
Using the Share button on your published Form, Feathr provides the embed code needed to publish your Form on your website or Feathr landing page for all your visitors to see. Submissions from your webpages automatically update contact records in your Community database.
Publishing a form on your website requires your website domain to be authenticated in your Feathr account.
Submission Notifications
Using Feathr Forms, you can choose up to 5 email addresses to notify when a published Form has been submitted. Alert your whole team!
You can also choose to display an immediate inline thank you message to the submitter, or redirect them to a new page on your site.
