Note: this is preliminary documentation for a soon-to-be released feature.
Feathr's Forms feature allows you to create custom forms to gather information from your audience as they submit. Forms can be embedded on any webpage you control. However, the domain of any page where you intend to place a form must be authenticated through Feathr before the form can be embedded. Read this article for more information.
Before Publishing a Form
Before publishing a form, check that the domain of the page where you want to embed the form is an authenticated domain in your Feathr account. To do this, log in to Feathr, then navigate to Account Settings > Account > Domains. There you will see a table of all domains that have been authenticated or are pending authentication. Look for your page's domain in the content domain column.
If the domain appears in the column, check that it says ready.
If it says pending, you may need to wait 24-48 more hours, or check with whichever administrator at your organization (if not you) added the domain for more details.
If the domain you're looking for does not appear at all, or says failed, follow the instructions below.
Authenticating a Content Domain
Adding a domain in Feathr to be authenticated is simple, but requires some steps outside of Feathr. From the domains page located at Account Settings > Account > Domains, select +Add new domain. This brings you to the Feathr domain wizard.
Follow the instructions in this article to complete the addition of your domain.
