Among Feathr's many digital advertising tools is the option to run ads on Facebook (and its properties) directly through your Feathr account. This is done through Facebook's 2-tier Business Manager Solution.
According to Facebook:
Business Managers are a way for Facebook to associate assets that include ad accounts, the Facebook pixel, business users, ad activity, and more to a business. Facebook expects to use Business Managers as a container to represent a business.
The 2-tier Business Manager solution is a scalable solution for a Business Manager to create and manage child businesses, and allows you to:
- Create and delete hundreds or thousands of small Business Managers (child Business Managers) underneath a parent Business Manager
- Create a small business presence
- Create assets for the user
- Offer Facebook ads to your end user on your website or platform
When you integrate your Facebook and Feathr accounts, you are permitting the creation of a "child" business account for your organization under the umbrella of Feathr's main Feathr Business Manager. This grants Feathr permission to publish and manage ad campaigns to your organization's audiences under your organization's name. In essence, it approves of Feathr as an advertiser on your behalf.
Note: Integrating your Feathr and Facebook accounts under the 2-tier Business Manager solution does not grant Feathr the ability to post on your pages or otherwise access your Facebook account. When you integrate your Feathr and Facebook accounts, it only gives Feathr permission to create and manage ad campaigns for your organization.
