Feathr's upcoming account dashboard offers a space for you to visualize critical account-level statistics at a glance, and serves as your Feathr account's new home page. To learn how to read and use the Account Dashboard, continue in this article.
What is the Account Dashboard?
Your Feathr account dashboard serves as the home page of your account in order to offer you insightful data about your account performance when you log in and begin to work in Feathr. It is an account-wide snapshot report of audience engagement, email performance, and account performance over time. You can customize the timeframe in each section to visualize and understand trends in your campaigns and engagement in intervals of 30, 60, and 90 days; past year; and all time.
Uniqueness
All statistics in the Feathr dashboard are expressed in terms of unique people. This means that if your dashboard delivers a stat of 500 ad views on a single day, your total number of ad views might be higher, since the same person could have seen multiple ads.
The reason the Feathr dashboard expresses stats by unique people is for you to visualize trends in overall engagement from your community of human beings, rather than sheer number of interactions. Those stats can still of course be viewed in campaign, Flight, and project reports.
Audience Engagement
The Feathr account dashboard displays audience engagement statistics for the categories of community, connections, and conversions. You can cycle through these three views by selecting the color coded tabs.
The community tab displays a daily graph of new persons created in your Feathr account over the timeframe that you choose in your dropdown menu. The default view is a 30-day lookback window.
The connections tab displays a collection of graphs signifying the variety of individual connections your campaigns have created with people over your selected timeframe. These connections include:
- Ad clicks
- Email clicks
- Ad views
- Page views
- Email opens
- Page link clicks
The conversions tab displays the total number of conversions credited to all campaigns in your account over your selected timeframe in a large graph, and also shows graphic visualizations of the highest three individual conversion goals over your selected timeframe.
Email Performance
The email performance category reports on a variety of important email metrics, account-wide. You can again choose your desired timeframe from the dropdown menu, then view a graphic representation of:
- Sends
- Opens
- Click-through rate
- Bounces
- Clicks
- Conversions
Ad Performance
The Ad Performance category reports on account-wide ad campaign stats, again in the timeframe of your choice, selectable from the drop down menu next to the category. Use this category to view these important metrics over the timeframe of your choice:
- Views
- Clicks
- Click-through rate
- Conversions
Gaining Insights
The Feathr dashboard is intended to help you visualize trends over time, and refine your marketing efforts in response to insights you derive from the trends.
Successful marketing succeeds at growing your overall audience, engaging your existing audience, and driving action (conversions). The Feathr dashboard helps you understand and analyze your results in each of those areas. Relative underperformance in any area can help you understand where to focus more energy, budget, and attention.
For example, if your overall engagement and your expansion campaign engagement is high, but your conversions are low, that insight could lead to you refining your campaign strategy to focus more on conversion-oriented messaging and campaigns.
