NOTE: This is preliminary documentation for an unreleased Feature. Watch for an announcement when this feature is widely available in Feathr.
Feathr's integration with the Google Ad Grant program allows you to connect your existing Google Ad Grant account to your Feathr account. Using this integration, you can create, manage, and edit Google Ad Grant campaigns in Feathr. You can also combine Google Ad Grant campaigns into Feathr Projects, Flights, and Reports, giving you a full view of all your marketing efforts in a single platform.
This article will demonstrate how to connect (integrate) your Google Ad Grant account to Feathr in a few simple steps.
Requirements Before Integrating
Here is what you'll need:
- Your Feathr Login.
- Access to log in to your Google Ad Grant account (you must be an admin for your organization's Google Ad Grant account).
- Your Google Customer Account or ID number.
The Feathr/Google Ad Grant integration cannot create a new Google Ad Grant account or apply for one. It is only meant to connect an existingGoogle Ad Grant account to an existing Feathr account. For more information about getting started with Google Ad Grants, visit Google's Ad Grant information hub.
How to Integrate, Step-by-Step
- Navigate to the Integrations page of your Feathr account and click Google.
- Add your Google Customer Account or ID number into the Feathr integration prompt.
- Follow the link in your Google confirmation email to approve the request in Google.
- Wait for the Feathr integration to confirm it has been connected.
Start by logging into your Feathr account. Navigate to Profile & Settings in the lower left hand menu, then to Integrations. Find the Google Ads integration tile on that page and click it.
This will bring you to the Google Ads Integration Manager. Click the button labeled Connect.
Next you will see a window labeled Request Account Connection. This window requires you to enter your Google Customer Account or ID number.
If you are uncertain where to find that information, it is in your Google Ad Grant account. You can also click the ℹ︎ icon in the Feathr window for help finding this number.
Once you have added the Google Customer Account or ID number to the field in the window, click Request access.
After you have clicked Request access, Google will receive the request to connect and you will receive an email from Google requiring further action. In that email, Google provides a direct link to the correct place in your Google account to accept the connection request.
Once you have accepted the request in your Google account, please allow some time for the connection to complete. In that amount of time, you will see a message in your integration that says your request is Pending invitation.
In Feathr, you can return to your Integration and click Refresh to re-check the status of your integration. This is not necessary, however; the integration will update on its own when it has successfully connected.
Once the accounts are connected, you will see the integration window display a message in green that tells you on what date the connection was successful. Once you see that message, you will be able to use Google Ad Grant campaigns in your Feathr account.

If you have followed the above steps and still receive an error message saying your account was unable to be connected (after waiting 24 hours), please start a support chat with Feathr (in the bottom right corner of your Feathr account) or send us a support email at email@example.com.
Disconnecting the Integration
If for some reason you need to disconnect your Google Ad Grant integration, navigate back to the integration in your Feathr account and click Disconnect. Another window will appear asking you to confirm your choice. Click Yes, and your integration will be disconnected immediately.
